outlined a plan that will give students
choices.

officer Wednesday evening has died.

Police say officers responded to a call
at 6:21 p.m. of a man said to be
attempting suicide in the 4300 block of
Old Spanish Trail.

Police say the suspect pulled out a
sword and advanced towards the
officers, ignoring their commands to
drop his weapon.

event in places like Blacksburg,
there's been another deadly attack
today in Baghdad.

It comes as Defense Secretary Robert
Gates arrived there for an unannounced
visit.

Police say a suicide car bomber
rammed into a fuel truck today in
Baghdad, killing at least 11 people.

The blast left more than two dozen
others injured.

Meanwhile, Baghdad residents are

people, and severely undermined the
two- month- old US- Iraqi security
crackdown.

the Oklahoma City federal building.

Danville this morning, killing at least
one person.

Officials say the plane was a
single-engine, two-seater, white with
