in the U-S.

But today is all about honoring
those who lost their lives.

an early start in Roanoke, as postal
workers honored the victims of
Monday's shootings at Virginia Tech.

Post Office at two o'clock this
morning.

With many dressed in Hokie
Colors, the postal workers released
balloons with the names of each person
who died.

Israel.

to escape by keeping the gunman out.

Friends, relatives and

His widow said his students are

brought them in from Heth HEATH Lawn.

Several speakers, including the
state Attorney General, shared their

community of Yuba City are closed
today, after a man allegedly threatened
an attack that would dwarf the one at
Tech.

classmates and a teacher at Columbine
High School in Littleton, Colorado
before killing themselves.

Relatives of those who died are
questioning a judge's recent decision
to seal information about the killers
for 20 years.

The judge said that information
could encourage copycat killers.

The move has angered Columbine

families and victims, who say

opening the files might help prevent
more tragedies, like the massacre at
Virginia Tech.

school's athletic teams will don the VT
logo this weekend on their uniforms and
equipment in everything from softball
