GRAPHIC=Cho Seung Hui Governor Tim Kaine says he may be able

use an executive order to close the
loophole that allowed Seung-Hui Cho to

get the guns he used to kill 32
classmates and faculty last week.

Cho had been ordered by a court to
undergo psychiatric counseling after he
was ruled to present a danger to
himself.

Doctors treated Cho as an outpatient
but did not commit him to a mental
health hospital, so the court finding
never made it into the database that
federal law requires gun dealers to
check before selling a firearm.

We already know that Virginia Tech
gunman Cho Seung- Hui legally purchased
the guns used in last week's deadly
massacre.

been cut to the point where they
literally cannot do the things that the

LIKE CONDUCTING INSPECTIONS. JUST
COMPARE IT TO ITS SISTER AGENCY, THE US
DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE. THE FDA IS
RESPONSIBLE FOR 80 PERCENT OF THE
NATION'S EVER-GROWING FOOD SUPPLY. THE
USDA FOR THE OTHER 20. AND YET THE USDA
HAS FIVE TIMES THE NUMBER OF

I think they need to do what they did

changed the laws for that- I think they

need to do that here.

OQ=...Hokie Fund << Back in the early 1990s the high
(END SOT) school and at times the college

football world was owned by Tommy
Edwards.

He was a man amongst boys on the
gridiron.

But Tommy knows all about facing
demons.

He's fought alcohol and drug
issues and emerged as a talented
musician.

EDWARDS

Touchdown Tommy as he used to be
known was visiting back in the area on

April 16th when like all of us he was
stunned by the violence on the Tech
campus.

EDWARDS 220054 "I just felt...
....horrible tragedy."

The killing prompted him to dust
off one of his original recordings
entitled World of Chaos.

EDWARDS 220152 "I WROTE THIS SONG...

Edwards' hope is that this is the
last time he'll have to break out this
particular song.

He would however like to put
together a benefit concert with a
number of well known musicians to help
raise money for the Hokie Spirit
Fund.>>
