investigators released details about
how Seung-hui Cho carried out this
deadly attack.

16th witnesses saw Sung Hee Jho
outside of West Ambler Johnston dorm.

waiting or standing there as far as his

actions inside the building we are
still trying to figure out what he did
or did not do inside the building. :00

We know around 7:00 am residents heard
a commotion coming from Emily
Hilscher's room. Someone even ran and
got Resident Advisor Ryan Clark to
help. A 911 call came in :20 minutes
later.

BITE: Wendell� 6:56:00 Upon arrival the
officer discovers Ms. Hilscher and Mr.
Clark in the dorm room. Both had been
shot.

Police chase a lead that took them off
campus,

Meanwhile, Jho went back to his Dorm,
Harper Hall. Two hours lapse between
the two shootings.

mail it.

The 911 call for Norris Hall came in at
9:42.

Cho had chained all 3 main entrances so
no one could get in or out.

Police had to shoot the lock.

Wendell: 8:33:00 as they move through
the buiding they can hear shots being
fired from the floor above them. They
hear the last gunshot as they were
going up the stairwell to the second

Jho fired 170 rounds of ammo. He killed
30 people, took his own life and
wounded 25 others, some as they jumped
out of the windows to escape the

In the hours after the Virginia Tech
tragedy, university administrators
faced tough questions from reporters.

Some believe it was too tough.

Jones decided to start an online
petition.

The purpose? Show support for

The petition spread like wildfire.

What started off as a goal of three

to five thousand quickly surpassed ten
thousand. By Friday, it was up to
twenty thousand.

the petition, that some feel
administrators deserve the criticism.

Johnson and Jones are quick to point
out, they believe questions should be
asked, just not right now.

tonight to honor those they've lost.

rescue squad and an engineering student
lit fourteen candles, each representing
the department's students and faculty
members who lost their lives last
Monday.

A tribute for each victim was

state colleges and universities to come
up with policies on dealing with
students who are suicidal.

Its goal is to provide guidelines
that students, faculty and resident
advisors can follow.

The law makes it clear students
cannot be penalized or expelled for
attempting to commit suicide or seeking

to others or dusruptive to the
community.

Commission has announced plans to close
several field offices throughout the
state.

It's still too early to say which
ones will shut down for good, but in
Martinsville where the unemployment
rate tops eight point five percent,
people are stretching for every
resource available.

The V-E-C has scheduled several
public meetings over the next month to
figure out which locations are most

between the Hokies and Furman.

The Tech Offense pounded out 7

Phil Spector.

Prosecutors say Spector killed
Actress, Lana Clarkson at his
California home on February 3rd 2003.

Spector has said he believed the
shooting was "accidental suicide" on
Clarkson's part.

prosecution laid out its case against

If convicted of second degree
murder, the 67 year old could face 15
years to life in prison.

she's leaving.

growing over 70 varieties of Heirloom
tomatoes. Heirlooms are considered to
be any plant which has been around for
more than 100 years.

Feldberg says warm nights are
crucial to starting the delicate fruit.
As for watering, tomato plants have
deep roots, so deep, infrequent
watering creates strong, healthy
plants.
