authorities provided more details about
Seung-Hui Cho's actions at Virginia
Tech on April 16th.
But there are still many
unanswered questions.

They have found no evidence
linking him with his first victim,

night by Virginia Tech's College of
Engineering.

rescue squad and an engineering student
lit fourteen candles, each representing
the department's students and faculty
members who lost their lives last
Monday.
A tribute for each victim was
also read during the ceremony.

Last Month This afternoon, former Virginia
Governor Jim Gilmore will formally
announce his intentions to run for
president.
He's not following tradition
though.... Gilmore will make his
announcement at one- o'clock today via
webcast from Iowa.
The 57- year old calls himself
the only true conservative in the race.
Since leaving the governor's
mansion, Gilmore has practiced law,
while running a homeland security
think- tank and believes national
security is the nation's top issue.
The Republican only started
raising money last month, but believes
his conservative message will appeal to
voters.

Commission has announced plans to close
several field offices around the state
because of reduced funding.
At this stage, it's still too

Nursery in Salem has already started
growing over 70 varieties of Heirloom
tomatoes. Heirlooms are considered to
be any plant which has been around for
more than 100 years.
Feldberg says warm nights are
crucial to starting the delicate fruit.
As for watering, tomato plants have
deep roots, so deep, infrequent
watering creates strong, healthy
plants.

all state colleges and universitties to
come up with policies to deal with
suicidal students.

cannot be penalized or expelled for

tragedy will only add to the stigma
related to seeking help for mental
illness.

director of Mental Health America of
Roanoke Valley is already hearing from
clients.
Many say they are afraid to
continue treatment or to seek help for
fear that will be linked with the
Virginia Tech gunman.
They're also concerned that the
tragedy has painted a misconception
that people with mental illness are
more likely to be violent--
When in reality they are more
likely to be victims of violent crime.
Kelly hopes more people will
consider getting care because there are
effective treatments available.
