Although he helped to raise test

arrested five people on drug related
charges but not without a struggle.

During the first neighborhood
arrest authorities report 35-year-old
Michael Williams tried to call out
reinforcements to attack the officers.

When that didn't work, they say
he tried to make his dogs attack the
deputies.

Eventually this arrest led to the
arrest of four others including a 56
year old man.

The charges range from
obstruction of justice to possession of
cocaine.

Tech officials report they've
offered admission to nearly 13-thousand

One prospective student from
Maine was locked down with his family
in a building on the campus during the
shooting spree that left 33 people dead
and 25 injured.

across the Commonwealth.

March 31, 2007 So far this year, about 200
reports of rabid animals, domestic and
wild, have been reported in Virginia.

At this point in 2006, 175 rabid
animals had been reported.

Rabies is a potentially lethal
disease that attacks the nervous
system.

It's spread mainly by saliva from
infected animals that

enters the body through bites or
through the mouth or eyes.

Most cases of rabies involve
animals in wilderness areas.

Last Season Wide receiver David Clowney went :00 157th overall to Green Bay, joining
Aaron Rouse who was selected by the

Packers last night.

The speedy Clowney who caught 34
passes for 424 yards in his senior
season, ran a 4.4. 40 at the combine.
He's the 2nd receiver to be picked up
by the Pack. Now he'll get to catch
balls from Brett Favre.

His teammate, Brandon Frye went
just 6 picks later to the Houston
Texans. Frye, a 311 pound offensive
tackle finally got to start as a
senior, getting the nod in 11 games in
his final college season.

Cardinals reliever Josh Hancock was
killed in a car accident this morning
in Saint Louis.

struck the rear of a tow truck at 12:35
a.m. The truck was in the left lane

Phillies, Reds, and Red Sox.u
