Thompson's contract as Superintendent.

We do know Thompson's last day
will be Friday but beyond that, many
other details are not being released.

convicted child molester Jonathan Utin

fight.

The 65-year old is NOT waiving
extradition to Montgomery County where
he's accused of molesting a 12 year old
girl more than 30 years ago.

Utin was sentenced two weeks ago
in Ohio to 15 years in prison after
pleading guilty to molesting a child
there.

The Ohio judge said Utin is the
type of person parents fear and he
belongs in prison for life.

Montgomery County's
Commonwealth's Attorney has already
filed the paperwork to have Utin
brought back.

The process could take up to 90
days.

sister, then cutting her body up into
19 pieces admits "he did it."

This morning James Motes pled
guilty to first degree murder.

He says he killed his sister back
in January of 2006 because she was
keeping him away from his family and
she deserved to die.

The prosecution laid out the
details of that murder in what was was
supposed to be the start of a two day
trial today.

Commonwealth's Attorney Cliff
Hapgood showed that Motes went through
extensive trouble in order not to leave
a trail of evidence.

Motes will be sentenced this
summer.

For the second time in three
months a jury has exonerated a
Christiansburg nail salon owner accused
of molesting his clients.

38 year old Kenny Tran was found
not guilty of sexual battery this
afternoon.

The jury deliberated for just 20
minutes.

Tran owns the Sky Nails Salon in
Christiansburg. He was found not
guilty in February of three earlier
counts of sexual battery.

Tran still faces five trials in
Montgomery County involving former
clients.

with bomb threats.

Since the shooting two weeks ago,
police have received five of them.

The latest one came Saturday
against the police department.

two separate threats before April 16th.

This is video of Torgeson Hall
being shutdown during one of those
pranks.

Tech leaders say these latest
threats haven't been as public because
there is still a tremendous police
presence on campus and they can sweep

former police officer Tod Burke says
these kinds of threats are very common
after a school shooting.

capitol building has been closed for
two years for renovations.

A 27- thousand square foot
underground extension was also added to
serve as the new public entrance.....
visitors will be funneled through
museum space, past a new cafe and gift
shop.

Virginia's capitol is the second
oldest capitol building still being
used for it's original purpose.
