Governor Tim Kaine says he has closed
the loophole that allowed a mentally
disturbed Virginia Tech student to buy
the guns he used to kill 32 classmates
and faculty two weeks ago.

Kaine is directing the Virginia State
Police to request copies of orders both
for involuntary inpatient and
involuntary outpatient care from

district courts.

And he's instructing state police to
revise the paperwork they use to
request such data -- to add outpatient
care.

major section of highway--one that

the Bay Area this morning.. even

with a key section of the freeway
reduced to rubble.

this interchange known as the
MacArthur Maze is normally used by

280,000 commuter a day�.but all that
changed early Sunday morning when a

gasoline tanker truck overturned and
burst into flames. The ensuing fire

was so hot; it destroyed a 250 foot
section of elevated highway.

"My first thought was wow, it was just
unbelievable."

But seeing is believing and this road
is in bad shape. State officials

have declared a state of emergency to
speed up repairs, but even still,

it will likely take months before
things are back to normal.

For now, it is hoped that commuters
will turn to mass transit. Free

rides are being offered today on the
rails, ferries and buses. Extra

trains and ferries have been added and
buses are being routed away from

the worst congestion.

Authorities fear this accident will
cause the worst congestion here

the 1989 earthquake damaged the Bay

Bridge.

It happened where 3 highways
converge�and has left a horrible mess
of

twisted steel and crumpled concrete
that will impact thousands of people

This is one of those iconic films from
the '80s-- but the plot itself is
pretty simple. Richard Gere's
character Zack Mayo is looking for some
direction, enters the military, and
really becomes a man... Did you all
have any idea that it would become as
successful as it did?

For me, I think the two most moving
scenes are of course, the end when
Richard Gere carries Debra Winger out
of the paper mill-- and the scene where
you're making him work out in the

Bay, joining Aaron Rouse, who was
selected by the Packers Saturday night.

The speedy Clowney, who caught
34 passes for 424 yards in his senior
season, ran a 4.4.40 at the combine.

He's the 2nd receiver to be picked up
by the Pack.

Now he'll get to catch passes from
Brett Favre.

His teammate, Brandon Frye went
just 6 picks later to the Houston
Texans.

Frye, a 311 pound offensive tackle
finally got to start as a senior,
getting the nod in 11 games in his
final college season.

round out of the NFL Draft.

picked 244th overall by the Atlanta
Falcons.

Snelling had over a thousand all
purpose yards as a senior, rushing for
just over 70 yards a contest, and had 7

Cornerback Marcus Hamilton will
go to camp with the Tampa Bay Bucs
after going one pick later.

Hamilton had 15 career interceptions,
tying him for 3rd with Ronde Barber on
UVa's all time list.
