has had a huge problem with trademark
infringement.

letters ordering companies to stop
making memorial items that bear the
Virginia Tech name or logo.

granted one request for Hokie Memorial
Merchandise, it's these shirts that
went on sale yesterday.

Virginia Tech says the shirts,
which are being sold by the student
group Hokies United, appropiately honor
the victims.

But we're told most of what you
seen in stores or online so far is
unsanctioned and in many cases those
selling those items are just lining
their own pockets.

A school spokesperson says this
morning's search was done as a
response..

The school was put on lockdown

enter pleas on their gun charges.

A 14 and 15 year old from Auburn
Middle School entered alford pleas.

That means they do not admit
guilt, but do admit there is enough
evidence to convict them.

The pair is charged with
conspiracy to commit murder.

Investigators say they brought a
gun and ammunition into the school and
had plans to shoot the school resource
officer, principal and another student.

They will be sentenced in June.

school will mean tighter security there
tomorrow.

A female student at Pulaski
County High School found a threat in a
bathroom stall that mentioned 10 A-M on
Friday.

The sheriff's office is
investigating, but school will be open
tomorrow.

Administrators are asking
students not to bring backpacks or
purses on Friday.

Bomb sniffing dogs will also be
there and all exterior doors will be
locked.

needs to move ... before its landlord
nudges them out.

in Forest has been renting this
building from the Forest Volunteer Fire
Department for 22 years.

But the fire department needs
more room and it may build elsewhere or
expand on its current site.

They hope to open a larger,
permanent facility in the fall of 2008.

heart attack in southern California

today.

The fifth American in space was
the only person to have flown Mercury,
Gemini, and Apollo missions.

He served as Commander on Apollo
Seven.

Navy in 19-69.

He was 84 years old.

playing the Quail Hollow Club and today

shot a 70 today.

Mickelson was all over the place
