school will mean tighter security there
today.

A female student at Pulaski

County High School found a threat in a
bathroom stall that mentioned 10 A-M on
Friday.

The sheriff's office is
investigating, but school will be open
today.

Administrators are asking
students not to bring backpacks or
purses to school today.

Bomb sniffing dogs will also be
there and all exterior doors will be
locked.

Memorial Merchandise since the tragic
events at Virginia Tech, chances are
it's unauthorized and in many cases
illegal.

Merchandise, it's these shirts that

went on sale Wednesday.

Virginia Tech says the shirts,
which are being sold by the student
group Hokies United, appropiately honor

unsanctioned, and in many cases those
selling those items are just lining
their own pockets.

closed the book on whether the area's
library will stay open.

Yesterday afternoon, the board
approved a more than 12-million dollar
budget.

travels over the last several weeks...

roads throughout the region.

While these webs aren't home to
the dreaded gypsy moth -they host
another nuisance- the Eastern Tent
Caterpillar.

Right now, the gypsy moth is
about the size of lead in a mechanical
pencil...

The season has just begun and the
worse is yet to come.

It's at the end of May, beginning
June when the mature caterpillars will
be doing the most damage.

in a 7th grader's bookbag, there was a
random search of student lockers at
William Ruffner Middle School yesterday
morning.

But school officials say this time
nothing was found.

Investigators say they brought a

manager of a company that exported a
contaminated pet food ingredient to the
U- S is now in custody.

the tainted wheat gluten a non- food
product.

Meanwhile, scientists are learning
more about HOW the poisoned gluten
turned deadly.

Scientist Perry Martos mixed
together melamine and cyanuric acid--
the two chemicals found in the tainted
food.

They formed a mass of crystals
nearly identical to those found in the
sickened animals.
