Amazingly so far, fewer than a dozen
casualties have been reported. But
searchers expect to find more as they
comb through the rubble.

They'll be back out here again at the
crack of dawn tomorrow.

THE GREENSBURG TORNADO WAS FUELED BY A

stabbing at Valley View Mall earlier
tonight.

When police arrived on the scene
they discovered a large disorderly
crowd.

They say a female juvenile had
been stabbed.

She was taken to Roanoke
Memorial.

No arrests have been made.

There is festival with carnival
rides going on this weekend at the
mall.

her car on I-77 in Carroll County this
afternoon- and died in that crash.

It happened just north of
Hillsville near milemarker 19... at
about three-- just one car was
involved.

State police say 67 year
old Patricia Rae Plante of Michigan ran
off the left side of the road and
overcorrected.. her car flipped several
times and landed.. facing south in the
Northbound lanes.

That crash forced both
northbound lanes to close and backed up
traffic late this afternoon.

Pulaski County left one child dead
Friday morning.

It happened on Route 11 at the
intersection of Rhuebush road- now the
driver of one of the vehicles is
charged with failing to yield the right
of way.

Police have not released the name
of the 9 year old who was killed
because the victim's age.
