to the bottom of a stabbing at Valley
View Mall last night.
When they arrived on the scene
around nine o'clock they saw a large
crowd congregated together.
Authorities say a female juvenile
had been stabbed.
She was taken to Roanoke
Memorial.

Virginia Tech shootings.

been looking at extra security measures
since the school shootings in

In response, Roanoke County has
begun installing surveillance cameras
in all of its schools.
Police have also visited each

nature's worst nightmares.

Last summer, Gypsy Moths invaded
nearly ten thousand acres on Poor and
Bent Mountains.
Beginning this month, the county
will once again team up with state and
federal agencies to spray pesticide to
suppress some of the more vulnerable

planes within 100 feet of treetops to
drop the spray- they're expected to
start this process at anytime now.

They predict this summer might be

a bronze sculpture of a mother holding
her child.
The 11-foot tall statue is called
"Joyfully."
It'll be the first thing families
will see as they aproach the center.
The project took one year for
artist Judith Damon to design.

as they work to turn their lives
around.

at Carilion.
Vistar says the decision was made
after Carilion never respond to the
groups request for a written agreement
about Vistar's role in the Carilion
Clinic.

wants to the State Cooperation
Commission to lift restrictions that

music got a chance to perform at
Festival in the Park.

Richmond last night but Mother Nature
decided that they would have to race
during the daylight at Richmond for the
first time since May of 2-thousand and
2 when they were rained out as well. .

FOX Kevin Harvick was the leader when
he came into the pits, trying to beat
Kurt Busch out he tags David Ragan and
tears up the right front of his car.
Harvick finished 7th.
Riding with Dale Earnhardt Junior
and this is not what you want to see if
your Little E as he goes for the Spin.
The 8 car finished 13th.
In the end it was Jimmie Johnson
holding off his teammate Kyle Busch in
the closing laps to win his fourth race
of the season. Henrick Motorsports has
now won all 4 Car of Tommorrow races.
During his celebration, Johnson holding
up the Virginia Tech Hat as he circled

teed it up on a Sunday before this
weekend was the Masters when he came up
short of winning another Green Jacket.
Woods looking to not see a repeat of
that performance down in Charlotte at
the Wachovia Championship.

the Yankees and Mariners game that he
would be coming back to New York to
pitch in the Pin-stripes. He told
everyone at the same time. Announcing
it over the loudspeaker from George
Steinbrenner's box in the middle of the

Judging from the reaction many of
his former and now future teammates
didn't know the announcement was
coming. Yankees won 5 to nothing.
