The mother of the Virginia Tech
shooter Seung-Hui Cho (sung-hee joh)
says she turned to the church to seek
help for her troubled son.
An article in The Washington Post
reports Cho's mother met with her
Pastor, and together they along with
congregation members at a church in
Woodbridge were going to help Cho (joh)
get rid of what the pastor referred to
as a "demonic power."
However, before the church could
act, Cho returned to Blacksburg for his
senior year at Tech.
Months later he shot 32 people
and himself in the worst shooting
rampage by an individual in U-S
history.

security across the nation.

say they'd been looking into extra
security even before the tragedy at
Tech - as a matter of fact, they say
they started studying new measures
after the school shooting in
Pennsylvania last October.
The end result....Roanoke County
has begun installing surveillance
cameras in all of its schools.
Police have also visited each
campus to look for potential problems.

nearly ten thousand acres on Poor and
Bent Mountains.
Beginning this month, the county
will once again team up with state and
federal agencies to spray pesticide to

drop the spray- they're expected to

Valley View Mall this weekend.
Now authorities are trying to

developing high blood pressure rises
along with his weight.
Researchers found that the higher a
man's body mass index was at the
outset, the higher his risk of
developing high blood pressure over the
next 15 years.
This was true even among men who were
normal-weight or only slightly
overweight.

People who unwind with a cup of tea
every night may have a lower risk of
two common forms of skin cancer.
Researchers found regular tea drinkers
had a lower risk of developing squamous
cell or basal cell carcinoma.
The effect was even stronger among
study participants who'd been tea fans
for decades, as well as those who
regularly had at least two cups.

U-S dark chocolate sales are anything
but bittersweet these days.
Chocolate companies are touting the
treat s health benefits, turning it
into a guilt-free indulgence.
According to one study, between 2003
and 2006, dark chocolate sales
increased almost 50 percent.
Nutritionists say there is strong
scientific evidence of dark chocolate's
antioxidant benefits but it is also
high in fat and calories.

The mother of the Virginia Tech
shooter Seung-Hui Cho (sung-hee joh)
says she turned to the church to seek
help for her troubled son.
An article in The Washington Post
reports Cho's mother met with her
Pastor and together they along with
congregation members at a church in
Woodbridge were going to help Cho (joh)
get rid of what the pastor referred to
as a "demonic power."
However, before the church could
act, Cho returned to Blacksburg for his
senior year at Tech.
Months later he shot 32 people
and himself in the worst shooting
rampage by an individual in U-S
history.

nearly ten thousand acres on Poor and
Bent Mountains.
Beginning this month, the county
will once again team up with state and
federal agencies to spray pesticide to
suppress some of the more vulnerable
areas.
To do that, pilots will fly
planes within 100 feet of treetops to
drop the spray- they're expected to
start this process at anytime now.
