Warthogs vs. Avalanche The Avs were also looking to get :00 above the 500 mark on the season
tonight.

And they add to a four run second
inning with this tally in the third.
Ryan Reed to slap the line drive up the
middle with the nice RBI and Elli Iorg
scores to make it a 5-to-nothing game
in favor of the Avs after three.

Now in the fifth - the Avs would

add to the total as Iorg slaps one in
to the hole in right and Justin Towles
(TOLLS) scores on the play as the Avs
take a 6-to-nothing lead. *CG final Winston-Salem
2 That was more than enough for Salem pitcher Brad James who improved to 5 6 and 0 and dropped his earned run
average to zero point 92 for the season
as the Avs win it 6-to-2.

Knights vs. Titans It was an absolutely perfect May :00 afternoon to get out on the diamond.
And those in attendance would see a lot
of good pitching and defense.

Titans are threating early, but
Cave Spring catcher Meredith Moore will

throw out Hannah Shelton trying to
steal. McKenzie Meader applies the tag
to end the threat and the inning.

Hits were hard to come by, but
Titans' catcher Shannon Sampson slapped
this shot down the left field line, but
again Cave Spring and pitcher Chelsea
Kelley would hold.

The reigning state player of the
year, who is headed to Radford, would
help her own cause with a single to
left. The Knights would eventually get
five runs in the 7th thanks to a costly
error.

And their defense would do the
rest as the Knights *CG final Cave Spring beat Hidden Valley 5-to-1 avenging a 5 loss earlier in the season and forging Hidden Valley a first place tie in the River Ridge.

OQ=News 7 Sports." <<52 teams gave the Lowe's Motor
(END SOT) Speedway a workout, trying to find any

edge they can. Hendrick cars have
found plenty this season accouting for
7 wins in 10 races. Jeff Gordon has 2

of those to go with 5 poles, while
Jimmie Johnson has visited victory lane
4 times, and Kyle Busch once.

While the trio has done its
talking on the track, there has been
plenty said about why the Hendrick
organization has been so stout.
