ready for a fight if the city of
Roanoke fails to turn the Mill Mountain
Star back to red, white, and blue.

recently made white to honor the
victims of the Virginia Tech shootings.

As we first reported last week,
it was originally suppose to be white
for 32 days, but the city now says it's
indefinite.

in controlling the blaze that raced
across the hills in the city's famed
Griffith Park yesterday.

L-A's interim fire chief says he
hopes to have the fire under control
sometime today.

hospital after a car crash on
Williamson Road.

Police say a Chevy Blazer, and
Ford Tempo were both headed north on
Williamson Road yesterday evening when
they collided in the 200 block.

No details on how the crash
happened.

The driver of the Blazer was not
seriously hurt -- the driver of the
Tempo had to be cut out of the car. She
was taken to Roanoke Memorial hospital,
along with her passenger.

Police are still investigating.
No charges have been filed.

will spend the next six months in jail.

salon said while massaging her, he
grabbed her breast and reached up her
pants.

The jury also gave Tran a

a motion to dismiss a six point three
million dollar lawsuit against the
former Hokie.

a 17-year-old Christiansburg girl.

She claims she had a sexual
relationship with Vick for nearly two
years while he was at Virginia Tech.

Vick's attorneys want the case
thrown out, but the judge asked them
for more information.

least another month on whether the
lawsuit will move forward.

That was the hot topic at
Lynchburg's city council meeting last
night... as developers and retailers
like Wal-Mart call the proposed
restriction unfair.

The city wants any potential big
box store ... like a Wal-Mart, a Target
or a Sam's Club -- anything more than
fifty thousand square feet ... to get a
conditional use permit before they can
build.

But some developers see it as an

alleged crimes.

The victim says in May of 19-94
someone broke into her home as she

slept and was attacked in her bed.

rapes on both video tape, and in a
written statement.

A judged certifed the charges
against Hall yesterday, and sent them

It's a program that allows
students to learn about science by
putting them in touch with scientists..

Operation Monster Storms is one
program that deals with weather- and
allows students to track storms with
tornado chasers.

Ballard started the Jason project
in 1989.. but he hopes to expand it in

schools--

During his visit to Roanoke he
remembered Henry Lee.. the William
Fleming graduate who died in the
Virginia Tech shootings.. Ballard said
Lee was an ambassador for the Jason

hospital after a car crash on
Williamson Road.

Police say a Chevy Blazer, and
Ford Tempo were both headed north on
Williamson Road yesterday evening when
they collided in the 200 block.

No details on how the crash
happened.

The driver of the Blazer was not
seriously hurt -- the driver of the
Tempo had to be cut out of the car. She
was taken to Roanoke Memorial hospital,

along with her passenger.

Police are still investigating.
No charges have been filed.

grabbed her breast and reached up her

million dollar lawsuit against the
former Hokie.

claims she had a sexual relationship
with Vick for nearly two years while he
was at Virginia Tech.

Vick's attorneys want the case
thrown out, but the judge asked them

lawsuit will move forward.
