shooting in Pittsyvania County.

Police responded shortly after three

o'clock to reports of a shooting in the
parking lot of Virginia Carolina homes
on South Boston Road.

apparently arranged to meet at the
location.

When police arrived, they found one
of the victims dead on the pavement.

The other was dead in the car.

No weapons were found in the vehicle.

been a bomb threat on a bathroom stall
at William Fleming High School.

The word bomb and the date
5-eleven, which is Friday, were both
on the stall, but investigators don't
know if the two words are related.

A letter went home to parents
yesterday to let them know about what's
going on.

The city school's spokeswoman
tells News 7 police are investigating
and school is going on as usual.

stoked a fierce wildfire in L-A's
famous Griffith Park are finally dying
down.

Officials now say the blaze is about
40- percent contained.

And some residents who were evacuated

shrink back, leaving the damage in
plain sight.

600 scorched acres of Los Angeles'
largest park ... but somehow its

legendary landmarks had survived.

The Griffith Park Observatory for a
while looked as if it didn't stand a

chance against the intense flames.

At the nearby L-A Zoo ... 12-hundred
animals were moved into holding

quarters ... before the wildfire began
moving toward a neighborhood.

and knocked on the door and asked us to

300 residents got the late-night news
that the fire was heading their

way.

pump cable was the likely conduit for a
lightning strike that touched off the
methane explosion.

Twelve miners were killed in the
January 2006 disaster.

The report from the Mine Safety and
Health Administration also says gas
levels inside the sealed section of the
mine where the blast occurred were NOT

monitored, and seals used to close off
that section weren't strong enough to
withstand the blast.

While the trio has done its
talking on the track, there has been
