GRAPHIC=BOMB THREAT Authorities in Giles County have

made an arrest following a bomb scare
today at Narrows High School.

School officials say a threat was
found written on a wall just before
noon. The school was evacuated, and
students were sent home early.

A search turned up nothing
suspicious, and investigators
determined the threat was a hoax. A
juvenile has been charged.

threat interrupted classes at William
Fleming High School for the third day
in a row.

Students were evacuated there,

The company got in trouble because it

long-acting pain relief and yet be less
addictive and less likely to be abused
than other narcotics.

followed all the rules and already have
a vested right to build the shopping
center which would include a so-called
"big box store."

Christiansburg and its police
department has been settled.

A Montgomery County woman
claims a female police officer with the
force failed to protect her from an
abusive husband because the officer was
secretly in a relationship with him.

Wendy Diane Hall Covington made
the allegations in a 40 million dollar
suit filed last year in federal court.

A letter filed in federal
court today says the parties have
reached a settlement, though it does
not disclose the terms.

was overlooked from the curved railing
that circles the field to elevated
grandstand to the ticket booth at the

main entrance.
