wreck abruptly ended the life of

His family described him as an
energetic, good kid.

driving on Timberview Road when he lost
control of his car and struck a tree.

Police say he was not wearing a
seatbelt.

Coughlin was not old enough to
drive alone. Police say charges could
be filed, if someone gave him
permission to get behind the wheel.

His funeral is tomorrow at North
Roanoke Baptist Church.

Lynchburg, residents will get to relive
the experience of that funeral
procession this weekend.

Kunstler's work shows Jackson's
coffin on the packet boat "Marshall" as

days -- the Head Hokie lent a hand to
the 11th annual Tug for Tots event to
raise money for CHIP - Roanoke's Child
Health Investment Partnership.

CHIP's Tug for Tots Beamer stopped by the event at :00 the River's Edge complex and refereed
to help CHIP kick off its second decade
of fundraising.

Since this event began 11 years
ago CHIP has raised $225 thousand bucks
to provide health care to children in
poverty.

17 area companies kicked in a
thousand dollars a piece to take part
in a tug of war and add to that total.

The Roanoke City Sheriff's
department won the lightweight divison,
while Apco won the heavyweight class
and coach only had to deal with a
couple of problems.

piece together what may be the world's
largest jigsaw puzzle.

The buddahs of Bamiyan used to
stand in this Afghanistan valley, until
about six years ago, when they were
destroyed by the Taliban.

The Buddahs were the two tallest
standing Buddahs in the world, and had
stood for over 15-thousand years.

Now archelogists are trying to
piece back together the sixth century
works of art.

To these people though , the
buddahs were much more than just
statues.
