Deputies made contact with the

This morning, the sheriff's

one residence to another and the high
school happened to be in between. He
was carrying an unloaded 22-caliber

Authorities are trying to

Fox Sports Reed Sorenson earned a :00 Darlington stripe on the side of his 41
ride, smacking the wall early in the
race.

And Brian Vickers finally made
a race in his Toyota.

But this is all he had to show for
it--a mess of sheet metal after getting
up close and personal with the inside
wall.

Gordon fought an overheating
car as the laps wound down.

But his engine held up, as the 24
took the checkered flag for the third
time this season.

Denny Hamlin, who led the most laps at
178, settled for 2nd.
