to attend the Reverend Jerry Falwell's
funeral on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, viewing and funeral

arrangments will span six days in all.

at Liberty, and again tomorrow from

The viewing moves to Thomas Road
Baptist Church Sunday from one until

state competition this summer.

There are also several fire
safety teaching tools.

The trailer is equiped with a
smoke simulator, a door that heats up,
a phone to practice dialing 911, and a
window to practice emergency exits.

Alderman, from Blacksburg walked into

Street and held an employee at
gunpoint.

that knowledge is power, then the power
to protect ourselves in the event of a
storm or tornado is found in education
and planning.

Helping the public to understand
what the dangers are and how to handle
them is what the new Roanoke County
Fire and Rescue safety trailer is all
about.

The 39-foot structure is a
rolling educational lesson plan, tooled
with a severe weather simulator.

Applications can recreate what it
feels like to be inside a home when a
tornado or hurricane is roaring
through.

The trailer shakes, simulates
lightning, makes the sound of
shattering glass and rushing wind.

There are also several fire
safety teaching tools.

The trailer is equiped with a
smoke simulator, a door that heats up,
a phone to practice dialing 911, and a
window to practice emergency exits.

There's also an educational video
that plays... and the message is to

Kevin Manion in Richmond yesterday.

Bath County native and presented his
parents with Manion's police badge.

The 27- year- old was assisting
Trooper Pam Neff with a traffic
accident in Clarke County last year
when he was killed... as the truck was

treated her like a sister.
