fire in southern New Jersey.

mixed bag for local teams yesterday.
The Roanoke College men's lacrosse team
lost in the national quarterifnals to
Salisbury - the unbeaten defending
national champs - 15-to-9.

However, Ferrum's baseball team
beat York 10-to-2 to advance to the
second round of the regional being

played at Ferrum.

And the W&L women's tennis team
beat Williams today 5-to-nothing and
will now play Amherst for the national
championship tomorrow in
Fredericksburg.
