GRAPHIC=Preakness For the 29th straight year, there

will be no Triple Crown winner.

Street Sense was the Preakness
favorite today at Pimlico. But the
Derby winner was edged by a nose as
Curlin won it at the line. Here's a
listen to the stretch run.

24th Scott Robertson Memorial Isabelle Lendl is doing her best
to defend her 15-18 year old title.
She fired a 69 today that included the
nifty bunker save on 18. She is at 3
under and leads by 2 over three other
golfers.

That group includes Esther
Choe, the Top Ranked junior girl in the
country. Choe could have trimmed her
deficit to a single shot if not for the
lip service on 18.

On the Boy's 15 to 18 side of
things there are just 2 players under
par. John Popeck shot a second round
68 and is in second place all alone.

The player he is chasing is John
Hahn who shot a 5 under round of 66 to
get to 6 under for the tournament. He
carries a 4 stroke lead into the final
round.

Emory vs. Ferrum It was a great night for baseball :00 in Franklin County.

We pick it up in the 4th. Emory
led it 3-2 before Brent Sowers singled
to left field scoring Jesse Fuller
tying things at 3-all.

It stayed that way until the 7th.
Eric Harrell delivered a base knock to
right. Nick Baker crossed the dish to
put the Panthers up 4-3.

Daniel Heatwole then gets down
the bunt to score Harrell from third.
This thing went to the 12th tied at 5. *CG final Emory But Ferrum came up with six runs and 6 won it 11 to 6. The same two teams Ferrum will meet tomorrow at Noon for the 11 right to move on.
