A potential bomb threat kept
police busy just hours before the
reverend Jerry Falwell's funeral got
underway.

Campbell county authorities
responded to a phone call last night
from the family of 19 year old Mark
David Uhl.

We believe Uhl is a freshman at
Liberty Unviersity.

His family told police Uhl told
them he had bombs, and that he was
going to the funeral service.

However, authorities concluded
there was no direct threat.

6:15. He hit a guard rail between the

Karrington Overstreet- -better
known as "K-K" was implicated in
earlier proceedings.

Today he pled guilty as an
accessory after the fact.

six children in a gas explosion has
filed a federal lawsuit.

killed in September of 2005 in a
propane explosion at a relatives house
in Michigan.

than 600-thousand dollars in damages.

They lost six children between
the ages of two to 19.

Smith Mountain Lake today.

The tip turned out to be
unfounded.

Doug Grabowski vanished from
Southwest Roanoke County two years ago.

Roanoke County Police as well as
State Police spent the morning combing
the waters for Grabowski's 19-77
faded-black Ford pick-up truck which
disappeared around the same time as the
35-year-old.

The crews used sonar equipment to
search two areas off Nicholas Lane on
the Bedford County side.

Authorities would not comment on
the case other than to say their search
was unsuccessful.

Division III National Title Game It was Washington U in Saint
Louis taking on Linfield out of Oregon

in the Title game.

Linfield getting off to a great
start by putting up 4 runs in the
Bottom of the First. The Big blow was
a 2-run home Run by Meredith Brunette.

Washington U would get on the
Board in the Top of the second thanks
to the Long ball as well. Ashton
Hitchcock with a bomb to left field a
Solo Shot for the Bears.

Linfield though would flash the
leather to keep Washington at bay.
Erica Hancock laying out to catch the
short pop-up in foul territory.

school retired the jersey number 71 in
his honor at Williams Stadium at the
Liberty - William & Mary game.

The number 71 wasn't a number
Falwell wore as player but rather the
year - 1971 - that he founded what was
then known as Lynchburg Baptist
College.
