possessing an unlawful destructive

He said very little, and did not

from investigators provides more
details about the case..

It describes how a deputy opened
the trunk of Uhl's car, smelled gas and
saw a cookie tin with five red
cylindrical objects. They appeared to
have fuses.

Bomb technicians from the

Virginia State Police determined the
devices contained a mixture of
gasoline, oil and styrofoam and
described them as a home made napalm
explosive device.

While one of the devices
apparently contained nails, Uhl told
investigators he was going to set the
devices off in a field and run away.
Uhl said he he knew it was a wrong to
have the napalm, but that he did not
want to hurt anyone.

The judge ordered that Uhl should
remain in custody, until detention and
preliminary hearings are scheduled
within the next several days. Joe
