Brian Doss is facing several
charges including forcible sodomy and
sexual battery

State Police say the pair
sexually assaulted a 17 year old girl

Grayson County yesterday after a
written threat was found at the high
school.

But school leaders say everything
went smoothly, with few problems and no
new threats.

Extra police officers were on
hand, and the schools took additional
security measures, including a
precautionary lockdown.

Normally more than 700 students
attend Grayson County High School and

two nearby middle schools.

Yesterday, only about 160 came to
class.

which was lying to an F-B-I agent.

The charges ranged from racketeering to
trafficking in guns and drugs.

Now the government has agreed to drop
all the underlying charges against
Cassell- -those related to specific

money laundering and obstruction of
justice- -in exchange for owning up to
a lie.

The sheriff had told federal
investigators he had no knowledge of
anyone in his office selling illegal
drugs.

Cassell did know, because Sergeant
James Vaught told him.

while a routine investigation was

Puckett shot and killed 43
year-old John Harvey Bridges.

Bridges' roommate Ron Ragland
says he called police because his

Bridges grabbed a sword and came toward
them in a threatening manner.

decide whether to charge a suspect with
having a fake bomb.

Village Apartments in Blacksburg found

apartment yesterday morning.

Police say they found a device
similar to a suicide bomber's vest that

Grayson County yesterday after a
written threat was found at the high
school.

But school leaders say everything
went smoothly, with few problems and no
new threats.

Extra police officers were on
hand, and the schools took additional
security measures, including a
precautionary lockdown.

Normally more than 700 students
attend Grayson County High School and
two nearby middle schools.

Yesterday, only about 160 came to

class.

toward the Pacific Ocean-- an elusive

Angeles.
