The passage of the 120 billion dollar

Until now, Reggie had eluded some of
the world's most famous gator
wranglers-- even the late Steve Irwin
was going to try to catch him.

Reggie was released into Lake
Machado in 2005 by a former policeman,
who could no longer care for him
because he'd grown too big.

Park officials spotted Reggie on dry
land yesterday.

They taped his mouth shut, and fire
officials helped transfer him into a
waiting vehicle.
