weekend after a man was hit and killed
while riding his bicyle in Bedford
County.

State Police say 58-year-old John
Bell of Lynchburg was traveling North
on Route 501 when a woman driving a
mini van - also going the same way ran
into him this afternoon.

Charges have not been filed at
this time and the accident remains
under investigation.

The victim was wearing a helmet.

cardiothracic surgeons released a
statement calling his death an

It's a chance for family members

Sixteen people were honored this
year, bringing the memorial's total to
360.

The service began in Virginia in

sacrifices.

one baby who can top that literally.

Doctors delivered the newborn 30
thousand feet in the air this week.

The mother was on her way from
Germany to Atlanta and wasn't due for
another month.

Lucky for her.....two doctors
were on the plane and were able to
deliver the child without any medical

the baby didn't have a heartbeat at one

been played at Salem Memorial Stadium
in the past. This year it was held in
Jacksonville Florida with a new Round
Robin Format.

The Virginia Cavaliers found that
to their liking as they had won their
first 2 games and needed to beat North
Carolina to advance to the title game
on Sunday.

Casey Lambert on the mound and that was

N-C-A-A Tourney were looking to advance
to the National Championship game with
a win over Cornell.

The Blue Devils were down by a
goal when Matt Danowski the Coaches Son

score coming from behind the cage on
the nice pass.

Duke would take a large lead in
the second half before the Big Red of
Cornell would come storming back. They
Scored 6 straight goals at one point
and then with under 20 seconds to go in
the game they would tie it up at 11 and
Overtime seemed inevitable.

night.
