(END SOT) the Martinsville Speedway on race
weekend. And while there isn't a bad
seat in the house, perhaps the best
one, is still under construction.
Since the Goody's Cool Orange 500 in
April, dirt has been moved along the
backstretch towards turn 3 to make room
for what will be known as the Champions
Overlook, which will include 30 new
paved RV sites. At a cost of around 2
thousand bucks per race, the sites will
be named for former winners at the
track, and the view will be unmatched.
CLAY CAMPBELL/MARTINSVILLE SPEEDWAY
PRESIDENT:
The speedway is one of southside's
biggest marketing tools and earlier
this week, it was recognized by the
Martinsville--Henry County Economical
Development Corportation with a Legacy
Award for its 60 years of impacting the
area's economy.

ABC But they did get this one
underway on time with no problems.
Having problems was not the case for
Milko Duno one of 3 women in the race.
She hits the outside wall and her day
was done.
The rains did come just after the
halfway mark, when they through the red
flag, Tony Kannan was in the lead.
But they went back to racing
after about a 3 hour rain delay, After
they got back on the Track Marco
Andretti who finished second last
season went for a ride on his roof.
Check out the on-board camera
that continues to work throughout the
entire ordeal. Sparks flying as your
head is inches from the pavement. Not
very much fun. Marco would be ok.
The Rain didn't stay away from
the Brickyard. Dario Franchitti played
the pit strategy correctly and Mr
Ashley Judd wins his first Indy
5-hundred.
