as well where a 20-year old was shot to
death just after midnight.

shots fired in the 22-hundred block of
North Main Street at around 12:30.

When they arrived they found
Joshua Franklin Dewberry dead inside a
van parked near the Sunrise Convenience
store.

An investigation for the shooter
is underway.

The Charlotte Coliseum came
tumbling down this morning.

Five-hundred and 50 pounds of
explosives wiped out the arena, marking
the demise of the 24-thousand seat
building.

The former home of the Charlotte
Hornets, the building was once the
largest facility for professional
basketball.

It's being replaced by a 170-acre
City Park development, which will
include retail and office spaces,
living quarters and a hotel with a
three-mile trail for walking.

scheduled to meet again in the first
half of the season which ends two weeks
from today. The game will not be made
up. The Avalanche is a game and a half

game - Stephen also connected on an
NCAA freshman 122 three-pointers.

Stephen scored in double figures in 33
games, broke five Davidson school
records and hit 41 percent of his three
pointers. Like his Dad did at Tech he
had the green light to shoot whenever
he had the ball. Stephen life long
dream was to follow in his dad's
footsteps to Virginia Tech, but both
father and son say they're over that

now.

Pistons out of the playoffs with a 98
