robbery in Danville last night.

It happened around 10:30 at
Junior's Convenience Mart.

An employee says that a black
male with a white bandana over his face
came into the store, displayed a knife,
and demanded money.

The suspect got away with an
undisclosed amount of cash and was last
seen driving towards North Carolina on
Route 29.

The employee was not injured.

What really concerns researchers is

that the gap between survival rates for
white and black women seems to be
widening.. and they say they next step
is to determine the reason for the
disparity.

When it comes to lung cancer.. older
women are living longer than men the
same age.

A new study shows women aged 60 or
older with advanced lung cancer lived a
median of 11 months, compared to just
eight months for men. Researchers say
the findings suggest that estrogen
might affect chemotherapy.

Researchers say people eat more when
they re glued to the tube.. and the

Scientists theorize that when the brain
