robbery in Danville last night.

It happened around 10:30 at
Junior's Convenience Mart.

An employee says that a black
male with a white bandana over his face
came into the store, displayed a knife,
and demanded money.

The suspect got away with an
undisclosed amount of cash and was last
seen driving towards North Carolina on
Route 29.

The employee was not injured.

IVORIES. one day burnell and I were
upstairs and we heard this plink,
plink, plink like repeated notes.

*nora starts playing, betsy and debbye
laugh*. debbye: there she goes (pushes
in to nora) we came down the stairs
*nora plays more* and heard this and we
were, oh my goodness. TRACK: WHILE NORA
HASN'T QUITE MASTERED MOZART, BETSY'S
FRIENDS ENCOURAGED HER TO MAKE A VIDEO
AND POST IT ON YOUTUBE. NOW NORA IS AN
INTERNATIONAL HIT. when it was at 200
viewers we were like oh, wow. this is
astonishing. i mean it's almost at 4
million. TRACK: NORA HAS BEEN
CHANNELING HER INNER BEETHOVEN FOR 2
YEARS. my theory is she saw me paying a
lot of attention to my students // and
i'm not paying attention to her when
i'm teaching them. and she got a lot of
attention from the students playing,
being down here, around them, and i
just think here's a way that i can get
some of that attention. (TRACK:)

ALAS, NORA *COULD* RESIST PLAYING WITH
ME! debbye: "ok my music doesn't do it

COURSE NO ONE KNOWS FOR SURE WHETHER
NORA IS AWARE OF WHAT SHE'S DOING. BUT
BETSY IS CONVINCED SHE IS. i think to
her little cat head it is music. and to
me as a composer i can hear little
rhythmic patterns in it, and i can hear
little melodic patterns, and i do think
she's creating some kind of a sound, or
combination of sounds. Debbye: Do you
consider Nora a talented cat or an odd
cat. Betsy: Both. Ha ha ha! (TRACK:)
BETSY PLANS TO WRITE A BOOK ABOUT THIS
ODD AND TALENTED KITTY. AND WHO KNOWS,
THE PIANO MAY BE JUST THE BEGINNING.
Betsy: lately she's been talking more.
I will say, 'nora do you want to play
the piano and she will meow.' so maybe
she has a singing career ahead of her.

Friday The Orlando Magic says Billy Donovan
is conflicted about making the move
from the Gators to the N-B-A club.

In a statement issued this morning,
the Magic says Donovan, who agreed to
join the team last week, is being
pressured by people in and around the
Florida campus.

Donovan agreed to a five-year, 27
and a-half (m) million-dollar contract
with the Magic on Thursday.

The Magic has not decided whether to
let Donovan out of his contract with
the N-B-A team.

indefinitely and fined an undisclosed
amount for his latest dirt-kicking
tirade against an umpire.

Saturday He was ejected in the eighth inning of
Saturday's loss to the Atlanta Braves,
after Angel Pagan was thrown out trying
to steal third.

Piniella stormed out of the dugout,
kicked dirt and tossed his cap while
arguing with third-base umpire Mark
Wegner (WEG'-nur).

The M-L-B also said that Piniella
made contact with Wegner during the
outburst.

Piniella began his suspension
yesterday.

The length of Piniella's suspension
will be determined today.
