the middle of the century.

At that rate, one in 85 people will

The biggest jump is projected in Asia..
but researchers at Johns Hopkins said
even a small advance in treatment could
bring the numbers down.

New research suggests regular exercise
along with a healthy diet dramatically
improves survival in women with
early-stage breast cancer.

Women in the study who ate the

Both obese and normal weight woman with

The wall came tumbling down when
a driver ran off the road and crashed
head on - all of this on the corner of
Franklin Road and Walnut Avenue.

Police say the passenger - a
female died in the accident.

The driver was rushed to Roanoke
Memorial - no word on how he's doing.

Police are not releasing either
name at this time.

From what we understand the wall
is not a part of any particular
building although it's located near
several business offices.

"To parents everywhere: find out what
your children do at their friends'
homes, and your own home for that
matter. Don't be afraid to barge in &
ask what is going on. They may not
like you but in the long run it will be
worth it."

The unusually early start to the
Presidential campaign season has
already angered a viewer from
Wytheville:

"Now that it is closing in on time to
decide on who should be voted to run
the country all the lies seem to get
worse," Melissa Hodge wrote. "I hear
people discussing what each politician
is saying about the war, insurance,
taxes and gas prices. The problem is
the regular person forgets so quickly

what each one in office promised to do
when they wanted us to elect to put
them in there."

Former sherrif Frank Cassell's guilty

Anna Lee Clarke wrote us to say:

"I see no reason Frank Cassell should

Gonzales has been under fire to step

that Gonzales has contradicted initial
