investigating the death of a
one-year-old girl today at an adult
babysitter's home - but there is no
suggestion of any negligence or
wrongdoing.

A call to 9-1-1 brought ambulance crews
to 123 Briar Hill Drive in Fieldale
this morning. Investigators say the
babysitter's nine-year-old daughter was
playing with Jayda Easley when she
noticed the child was not breathing
porperly. The baby died a short time
later while under medical treatment.

comments to the media, withholding
evidence from defense

and bar investigators.

perp hooligans. He characterized the
alleged crime as abhorrent,
reprehensible, and absolutely
unconscionable."
The defense promised when Nifong takes
the stand, he'll show regret for what
he said�even his attorney admits

Some of those statements were clearly
outlandish.

The first witness ... Collin Finnerty's
lawyer ... raised questions questions
about DNA taken from the accused
players. Were results that that
could've exonerated the players

of agreement with Mr. Nifong and
anybody to exclude evidence."
For the three Duke Lacrosse players ...
the case is one more step in getting
their reputations back ... but it

Earnhardt Junior Sweepstakes seems to
have come to an end.

Multiple Media outlets are
reporting that Dale Earnhardt Junior
will sign with Hendrick Motorsports.
Orginially Hendrick said they had no
room for Junior with 4 cars and drivers
already in place. But it looks like
Little E will join forces with Jeff
Gordon, Jimmie Johnson and Casey Mears.
Kyle Busch appears to be the driver on
the way out the Hendrick Door. A press
conference is scheduled for 11 am
tomorrow at Earnhardt Juniors Busch
Racing shop in Mooresville. Junior
announced that he was leaving his
Current Team and the one his late
father founded D-E-I just about a month
ago and stated his desiree to continue
to drive a Chevy as well as for a title
contending team. Hendrick fits the
bill on both accounts, they drive
Chevy's and defintely are title
contenders. They have won 10 of the 15
Point Races run this season.

Highlanders in April after serving as a

Fifteen women took part in the
Bridezilla cake eating contest. All
wearing white, they tore into the cakes
with both hands.
The contest is to help kickoff the
fourth season of the show Bridezilla on
the WE cable channel.
Stephanie Florio of Long Island ate
the most wedding cake in two minutes to
claim the grand prize of $25- thousand
dollars.. and the title of Bridezilla.
