Dwight Hanna owns Caution Flag,

His store is filled with NASCAR

dominated by one... diecast replicas.

One current driver dominates all
others in the diecast sales, Dale
Earnhardt Jr.

Of course, it's not just 1/24 and
1/64 scale cars... there's hats,
T-shirts, bumper stickers, even a
lunchbox.

You name it, they'll sell it.

If an 8 and an Earnhardt can be
printed on a product, it's a safe bet
it has been and will continue to be
until next year when he will presumably
have a different number on the roof and
door panel.

The true Junior fans is like the
true Earnhardt Senior fans.

They have loyalty that runs deep.

And in the past those fans have
demonstrated they have deep pockets as
well generorating a reported 30-million
dollars in merchandise sales revenue
for DEI.

But those deep pockets can only
pay for so much for so long.

With the increase in ticket
prices at the race track, the rise in
the retail prices on the new diecast
produced, and the overall cost of
living increase... Hanna says many fans
just do not have the money right now
for the new merchandise.

So while Dale Jr's team change
may cause a bump in sales nationally
for all things Earnhardt, Hanna's not
sure he'll feel it at the local level.
