Take Traffic alert Banner Foggy weather and an accident
are causing big problems on Interstate
77 in Carroll County.

An accident has closed the southbound
lanes of the
TAKE MAP FULL APRISA

interstate from Exit 8 to the
North Carolina border. The accident is
actually near mile marker 4.

Emergency crews are trying to
re-open one southbound lane.

In the meantime, cars and
smaller trucks are being detoured onto
Route 52.

There have been no reported
injuries.

Capital Beltway in Northern Virginia
left four teenage girls dead.

before 11 last night, when the car the
girls were riding in collided with a
tractor-trailer near the Springfield
Interchange.

A fifth girl is hospitalized in
Fairfax.

The driver of the tractor trailer
was NOT hurt.

So far, police haven't released the
names of the victims.

The crash occurred near a V- DOT
work site.

Authorities are still investigating.

witness, not the accused.

Nifong is charged with ethics
violations including witholding DNA

evidence that could have cleared the

(END SOT) was supposed to be a one time event -

but there's just something about the
combination of sports memorabilia and
charity that's hard to resist.

Once again fans from all over
opened their hearts and checkbooks to
the tune of more than $5000 bucks - all
in the name of scholarship cash in
Roy's memory.

$200 and $300 bucks, but nothing got
the crowd's attention like this Joe
Theismann autographed Stat jersey that
fetched well over $400 dollars.

But it was the man who took home

Stanley.

Football national Championship Game
