Coffee in downtown Salem late this
afternoon.

There was smoke coming from the

building when firefighters arrived.

They evacuated the building
and contained the fire to the roaster.
Most of the damage was limited to the
machine but they had remove parts of
the wall to make sure the fire hadn't
spread.

There was no damage to the
adjoining buildings and no one was

canister of Nitric Acid blew up inside
a lab at Luna Innovations.

No one was hurt and the accident
was contained to the lab.

The building was evacuated, but
firefighters say there was never a

Roanoke School Board members made
that decision today, as they raised the
possibility of a larger stadium at
William Fleming High School.

athletic boosters who would like to see
the planned stadium at Fleming expanded
from three thousand to five thousand
seats.

They say a larger stadium on the
Fleming campus would allow the city to

According to State Police, the
autopsy and toxicology reports on Cho

construction of Roanoke's new Art
Museum has been completed.

Hundreds came to a "Topping Out"
ceremony and watched as the last steel
beam rose into place at the new
Museum.

The Art Museum of Western
Virginia held the ceremony to celebrate
the completion of the
structural-and-roof steel with the
placement of the last beam which
ironworkers have come to call "topping
out."


People at the party got a chance
to leave their mark by autographing the
final beam before it was hoisted into
place.

The ceremony honored the
construction crew that has been working
on the museum since May of last year.

counselor position at the Governor's
