Police say a car was traveling
north when it crashed.

homes in Manitoba, Canada on Friday,
leaving 15 people homeless.

to make sure everyone was accounted
for.

The storm also damaged several
vehicles and tossed trucks into ditches
off the Trans-Canada Highway.

Heavy rains and storms lashed
Pakistan on Saturday, killing at least
20 people and injuring dozens of
others.

At least 10 people were
electrocuted as powerlines came down in

people in northern Oklahoma wading high
waters.

Some parents planning to work at
a fundraiser, instead spent it cleaning

The parents work the "Big Blast
fireworks stand", where they sell
fireworks to raise money for their

were forced to spend the day moving

northern Iraq will hang for his crimes.

Ali Hassan al-Majid ahl
mah-ZHEED', better known as "Chemical
Ali," is among three members of
Saddam's regime being sent to the
gallows for a 1980s crackdown that
killed as many as 180-thousand Kurds.

Kurds are celebrating today's
verdicts by slaughtering sheep.

They stockpiled generator-fuel to
keep televisions working so they could
watch the trial announcements.

Memories of the atrocities remain
fresh in the minds of the survivors.

Saddam was also a defendant in
the case, but was executed December

30th for other crimes.

GRAPHIC= MURDER INVESTIGATION The 10-day search for a pregnant

Ohio woman came to an end yesterday
after the body of 26-year-old Jessie
Davis was found.

But, authorities say her body is
so badly decomposed they'll do an
autopsy and dental comparison today to
confirm the identification.

Just after 3:30 yesterday- police
found Davis' body in a thickly wooded
area.

Searchers on the scene say she
was fully dressed and hidden under
piles of leaves.

30-year-old Bobby Cutts, Jr. now
faces two counts of murder.

Police say he's the father of
Davis' unborn daughter and of her
two-year-old son.

Cutts is also a Canton Police
Officer.

a suburban gun shop.

march at Chuck's Gun Shop in Illinois.

They say guns purchased at the
shop have been linked to a number of
crimes.

Jackson and Father Pleger fleger

plan to march again on Friday.

GRAPHIC= ROBBERY, GENERIC Police are investigating a

shooting and two attempted robberies in
Danville.

The first one happened in the 500
block of Claiborne Street around 10:30
last night.

Police say a suspect pulled a gun
on the victim and demanded money.

When no cash was handed over, the
suspect struck the victim over the
head.

The second attempt happened
around 11o'clock along Worsham Street.

A struggle between the
suspect and the victim led to the
victim being shot in the shoulder and
leg.

Both victims have been
treated and released from Danvillle
Regional Medical center.

Police are investigating whether
or not the two incidents are connected.

after Roanoke City Schools named its

new superintendent.

Bishop to lead the district during a
meeting on Friday.

She'll takes over -where former
district leader Marvin Thompson left
off.

Thompson had been here just
two-years, but stepped down after a
mutual agreement with the school board.
