Nearly three years ago, the city
of Roanoke narrowed the streets in
several locations on Bullitt and

The goal is to make drivers feel

The problem is some are still

Here's how they work....

If you drive recklessly or under
the influence of alcohol or drugs you
are charged a fee of anywhere from
$750- to three- thousand dollars.....

That money will then go into the
state's highway maintenance fund.

Some are calling the new law a
vicious catch- 22....

That's because drivers who can't
pay the fees loose their license-
preventing them from going to work to
make the money they need to pay the

GRAPHIC=NEWS 7 SPORTS Finally tonight - The creators of

the Marshall University documentary
"Ashes to Glory" have filed a $40
million-dollar lawsuit alleging the hit
movie "We Are Marshall" stole their
ideas and research.

ENG#=3 VO-NAT

VO-NAT Both the documentary and movie

chronicle Marshall's rise to football
prominence following a 1970 plane crash

that killed most of the team.

Deborah Novak and John Witek
filed the lawsuit in federal court in
California accusing Warner Brothers
Pictures and others associated with the
movie of fraud, copyright infringement
and breach of contract. They say the
lawsuit is representative of an ongoing
battle over intellectual property -
adding that Hollywood has a history of
stealing writers' ideas and not paying
them.

Warner Brothers has not commented
at this time.
