they were attacked by a fox near a
popular park.

Corey King has reason to show his dog
some love.

That's because Max saved his life
Friday night.

It happened here in the backyard of
his grandparents home on Lacy Lane in
Blacksburg.

this time biting and scratching King's
legs several times.

This family wasn't the only ones who
had a run in with the fox.

In all, it attacked four people and
two dogs, all in and around Heritage
Park.

After the fourth incident, police
were called in.

already on the minds of many in
Roanoke, thanks to Patrick Henry's new
Football stadium.

meeting at the high school to address

any issues.

City leaders say a typical football
game should attract roughly two
thousand fans.

held a conference to address parking
concerns of downtown merchants.

They also want to eliminate the
proposed parking increases for the rest
of the year.

The two would like to take money
from parking fines to fund the valet
parking service.

for low-wage employees and reduced bulk

rate parking to attract businesses to
the downtown area.

near Lake Tahoe.

sentenced for having sex with two of
her students.

was taken into custody yesterday
afternoon to start serving a 3 year 11
month prison sentence.

She'll also be on probation for
five years once she's served her time.

Patton was convicted of three
felony charges for molesting two 13

She was an English teacher and
cheerleading coach at Wytheville's
Scott Memorial Middle School.

Patton was sentenced in a closed
hearing yesterday.

attacked over the weekend by a rabid
fox.

for people to walk their dogs.

Police say there were several
attacks.

In all, four people and two
animals were slightly injured.

Todd King was one of them.

The fox bit and scratched up his
legs in the back of his parents home
Friday night.

woods.

The next day the animal attacked
another person, this time on the trail.

That's when Blacksburg Police
went out and destroyed the fox, but not
before it attacked one of the officers.

wildfire near Lake Tahoe say they plan
to announce the cause today.

Yesterday, forestry officials had to

Friday night.

It happened here in the backyard of
his grandparents home on Lacy Lane in
Blacksburg.

This family wasn't the only ones who
had a run in with the fox.

In all, it attacked four people and
two dogs, all in and around Heritage
Park.

from a plane that went down yesterday
with 22 people aboard.

the destructive wildfire still burning
near Lake Tahoe.

After more interviews, investigators
say they plan to announce the cause
today.

They've already blamed it on "human
activity."

Yesterday, forestry officials had to
order a new round of evacuations after
the blaze jumped a fire line near a
subdivisio south of the lake.

Despite firefighting efforts, the
blaze has grown to four square miles
and destroyed at least 200 homes.
