"Youth Escort Policy".

In TWO weeks, anyone "under" 18
will need a parent or adult guardian on
Friday and Saturday nights.

The mall will have guards at each
entrance to CHECK I-D's.

After "six" in the evening,
anyone under 18 without "supervision"
will be asked to leave or their parents
will be called to pick them up.

One merchant wonders what this
will mean for business.

robberies.

Morva was convicted on

BOTCHED robberies in Blacksburg.

killed a security officer and a
"sheriff's" deputy.

In September he will go on trial
for capital murder.

outbreak.

The search continued yesterday
for two Texas teenagers who may have

been swept away in floodwaters.

The two were last seen near a
low-water crossing.

The roadway was covered by fast
moving water, and searchers found a
Jeep Cherokee that had been flattened
by floodwaters.

Investigators found the vehicle
in a creek bed, and are worried the
teens may have been swept away.

Flooding in Texas recently has
left at least eleven people dead.

A powerful round of severe
weather moved through parts of eastern
Washington and Idaho Friday afternoon.

Trees all over the area were
knocked down, and some came crashing
onto homes.

Officials say damage was fairly
widespread from the storm, including

damage to power poles which knocked out
power to a large number of homes.

Calmer weather is forecast across
the Pacific Northwest through the
weekend.

Transportation issues three times.

And although the vast majority say
highway construction spending is
important, the percentage saying it's
very important is at its lowest point
in the past year and a half.

When it comes to increasing fines
to pay for highway construction,
support has also slipped, though only
slightly. 42-percent now say they're
opposed to the idea.

But there's no uncertainty
about our third question... 80 percent
of Virginians say the increased fines
should be applied equally to in-state
and out-of-state drivers.
