Dougherty found Cmeyla guilty again,
and pronounced the gave him the same
sentence he'd gotten from the the
General District judge: 120 days to
serve, no work release.


His lawyer asked if he could
report to jail on his own... but the
judge said no. He started serving the
four-month sentence immediately.

case against Charles Cobler.

He's accused of murdering Snow
Creek minister Nancy Copin in her home
back in April.

The 40-year-old Cobler faces both

It happened around the area of

United Kingdom.

In Roanoke, you cannot park at the curb
or in the first row of short-term
parking.

In addition, you will have only five
minutes to load and unload in front of
the terminal. Airport management is
asking travelers to go straight to the
parking lot, where free shuttles will
pick up passengers and take them to the
terminal.

lucky to be alive tonight after
surviving a rollover accident.

Wally Perry was unloading a van

off of Cleveland Avenue when somehow it
slipped out of gear and started
drifting down the hill.

Perry tried to stop it, but the
van grazed a building, overturned and
trapped Perry underneath.

Some witnesses grabbed a jack to
relieve the pressure from Perry's chest
until emergency personnel arrived.

Perry was taken to Roanoke
Memorial Hospital where he was listed
in good condition.

Sunday A truck carrying fireworks
crashed at the base of Bent Mountain in
Roanoke County Sunday morning, killing
the driver.

County police say Steven

Langley of North Carolina was making a
delivery to the Grucci factory in
Radford. But he apparently missed the
turn for Route 8 in Floyd.

He continued north on Route
221 and crashed as he came down Bent
Mountain, closing the road for some 13
hours.

A Roanoke County officer says
the truck's brakes may have overheated
and failed.

today Serena began to cramp, she then
feel to the grass holding her calf with
what appeared to be something much more
severe than just cramps. Serena did
keep playing with one of her calves
wrapped but was clearly hampered in her
movement on the court. She was in the
middle of a second set Tie-breaker when
Rain caused a delay and Serena went to
the lockerroom to receive more
treatment.

Her Father told Serena not to
return to the court. But she went back
out, losing the Second Set, but finding
a way to win the third set by a score
of 6-2 and advance to face French Open
Champion Justin Henin.
