request to withdraw his guilty plea.

will be sentenced in August for the
shooting death of former girlfriend
Donna Angelo.

In the guilty plea entered last
December, Startz admitted *CG locator Pulaski Co. walking into the Fairlawn Wal-Mart in February 2006 February 2006, and fatally shooting
Angelo.

She was working in the store at that
time.

Startz later asked to withdraw that
plea, but today, that request was
denied. Sentencing is scheduled for
August 17.

Vick's property in Surry County today,
searching for evidence.

This Morning It's the second search by federal
agents of Vick's house in Surry County.

The home has been the center of an
alleged dogfighting operation.

Federal authorities also conducted a
search there last month.

Surry County officials had secured a
search warrant in late May to look for
as many as 30 dog carcasses buried on
the property.

The warrant never was executed,
because Commonwealth's Attorney Gerald
Poindexter said he had issues with the
way it was worded.

Poindexter was angered when federal
agencies stepped in, saying he believed
they were going after the Newport News
native because he's a celebrity.

Vick is the quarterback for the
Atlanta Falcons and played at Virginia
Tech.

It happened early this morning on
Interstate 77 south at mile marker 20
which is north of Hilsville.

Witness told authorities that a
car traveling too fast, ran up under a
tractor trailer causing them both to
wreck.

Both vehicles caught fire.

The driver of the car was
airlifted to Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

And the driver of the tractor
trailer was taken to the hospital and
has been treated and released.

was all too real at a movie theatre in
China.

second largest bust of illegal
fireworks in Franklin County.

in Wirtz.

There, the fire marshal says he
caught employees selling illegal
fireworks out of a shed.

At Boones Mill Pottery, authorities
sent in an informant after getting a
tip.

All together, the fire marshal says
they seized several truck loads of
fireworks worth nearly forty thousand

dollars.

Cochlear implants allow the deaf to
hear.

The devices have been successful in one
ear, but now doctors are using them for
people who have hearing loss in BOTH
ears.

For one woman, the procedure could soon
have her hearing wedding bells.

Hill is 34 years old, and many
say he badly wants one of those titles

In his time in Disney World, Hill

played in only a third of the possible
games with Orlando, and underwent 5
