Just before the weekend, a dog

owner in the 900 block of North Camp
Road in Salem came face to face with a
rabid fox.

And this isn't the only case we seen in
the past few weeks. A couple of days
ago in Clifton Forge, animal control
officers tried to round up all the
stray cats after a rabid cat bit
someone. And this bite came from a fox

last month in Blacksburg.

causing problems in the Shenandoah
Valley.

More than 50-thousand turkeys
will be destroyed after testing
positive for a mild strain of the avian
flu.

giant sinkhole.

A man fell in the 45- foot sinkhole

about 500 yards, raising the danger of

A trial program in some of
Virginia's largest metro areas expired
a while back, but a new state law went

Those communities must approve
them first.

rabid animal running wild here in
Southwestern Virginia.

This time the culprit was a fox.

It went after dog around 4:30 on
Friday morning.

style of dressing.

The school board has unanimously
approved a change to the dress code.

The changes will limit skirt

A trial program in some of
Virginia's largest metro areas expired
a while back, but a new state law went

Quite an achievement for someone
who was kind of scrawny when he started

belts and becoming a world champion.

Friday morning. It happened in the 900
block of North Camp Road in Salem.
Tests confirmed that the fox did have
