awoke, her life was forever changed.

She suffered a traumatic brain injury,
lost her right-eye, broke her jaw and
had many other injuries that make it
tough for her to get around- much less
work.

But, things seemed like they were
turning around- Fox Run Solutions, a
business out of Ohio - donated two
computers, along with a special
software- to help Desiree run a

web-based business from home.

there.

She's not the only one hurt by this -
so is her 18-year-old son, DeShaun.

He's visually impaired and needs the
computer for school.

While the family doesn't know who did
this- they're hoping for a change of
heart.

Natasha, he allegedly shot four

people, two of them died.

been a fugitive ever since. Finally in
May, police tracked him down in
Jamaica.

Today, Forty year old Thomas Manuel
Paige Junior was flown into Roanoke,
handcuffed and shackled at the ankles.

The U.S. Marshal believes Paige had
been in Jamaica ever since he allegedly
shot and killed several people at an
apartment on Staunton Avenue in May
1989.

Debra Salters and Slyvia Baker
died from gunshots wounds to the head,
while Joyce Washington and Wilford
Branch survived the attack.

They helped identify Paige as the
shooter and we understand this all

stemmed from an argument over drugs.

Roanoke City jail. It's unclear at
this point when his trial may take
place but when it does he faces capital
murder charges.

Pittsylvania county took the life of a
minor this afternoon.

It happened on the Danville
Expressway just north of Malmason Road.

Police say a Dodge van carrying
six people flipped over several times.
A minor died at the scene, one other
was taken to Roanoke Memorial, everyone
else was taken to Danville Regional
Medical center. police are still
investigating.

one in Appomattox County this morning.

State Police say 55-year-old
Kenneth Marvin Jones was headed south
on Red House Road-- when a pickup
headed the other direction swerved into
his lane.

Jones was killed. His
passenger, and the other driver --
45-year-old William Anthony Martin of
Appomattox, were taken to Lynchburg
General Hospital. Their injuries were
not believed to be life-threatening.

Martin is charged with
reckless driving.

national golf scene has been impressive
this summer and today the Blacksburg
high school was rewarded for her solid
play. Ellenbogen has earned a spot on
the East Team at the 18th annual Canon
Cup to be held in Tennessee at the end
of this month.

junior golfers from around the country
playing in the event. Past
participants in this Cup competition
includes the likes of Tiger Woods,

Courtney earned her way in this event

has won two American Junior Golf
Association events the Mizuno Junior at
Chateau Elan outside of Atlanta in
April and the Rolex Tournament of
Champions last week in Ohio.
Ellenbogen has 12 additional top-10
finishes in national junior golf events
and recently qualified for the 2007
U.S. Women's Open. She currently is
ranked Nunder 6 in the nation by the
Polo Golf Rankings. The Canon Cup is
unique in that each team consists of 10
boys and 10 girls with Mississippi
River serving as the East-West dividing

to start their morning jog. But for
some in Spain, that's just what
happened.

were hospitilized after today's running
of the bulls in the San Fermines
(FERR-MEAN-ES) festival.

Three people needed surgery and
are in serious condition.

Today has been the bloodiest day
of the nine day event that is widely
known for its famous bull runs.

Each year thousands flock to
Spain to watch people run the
nine-hundred and seventy-five yard
course.

Since 1924, bulls have killed
