taken to UVA with burns on well over 60
percent of their bodies.

Bakaitis is still listed in
serious condition.

The two admitted to trying to
steal copper from the Foundry Wednesday
night.

Deputy Corporal Eric Sutphin.

If convicted, Morva faces the
death penalty.

mailbox and flipped his Chevy several
times.

He was thrown from the vehicle
before it eventually burst into flames.

area woman to probation after she
pleaded no contest to a charge of
attempting to infect someone with
H-I-V.

That's from the Associated Press.

According to Assistant Roanoke
Commonwealth's Attorney Bill Braxton,
38-year-old Lisa Sarah Taylor was
drinking a beer on a street corner in
April when she try to solicit three
police detectives driving by, offering
them sex.

Taylor was arrested on
prostitution charges and later admitted
she was a carrier of the H-I-V virus.

mailbox and flipped his Chevy several
times.

He was thrown from the vehicle
before it eventually burst into flames.

counterfeit Colgate toothpaste and some
Chinese-made products containing a
substance commonly found in
anti-freeze.

Last month, some 900,000 tubes of
tainted toothpaste were found in the
U-S after the F-D-A ordered a recall.

be a sign of broader mental health
problems.

In a survey of more than 25,000 adults,
researchers found that those with
chronic insomnia were more likely to
also be suffering from depression or an
anxiety disorder.

hopes of preventing diabetes may
actually worsen their odds.

A U-S trial shows that people who take
the supplement raised their risk of
diabetes by more than half, compared to
