GRAPHIC=VT The Virginia Tech Men's

basketball team returned to the N-C-A-A
Tournament this past season.

Many say that the team's success
was due greatly to the efforts of the
senior backcourt of Zabian Dowdell and
Jamon Gordon.

The two players are currently
trying to make it in the N-B-A.

Their teammate, Nigel Munson,
evidently did not want to follow in
their footsteps.

There have been rumors all summer
that Munson wanted to transfer, and
that now appears to be happening.

2006-07 Season The Washington Post is reporting
that Munson will transfer from Virginia
Tech after only one season.

The Paper says Munson, who went
to Dematha High School in the
Washington D.C. area, has been released
from his Scholarship by the school.

Munson played in 32 games last
season for the Hokies, averaging 11
minutes and 3 points per game.

Localities in the valley help the
