Vick's being ordered by N-F-L
commissioner Roger Goodell to stay away
from the Atlanta Falcons' training camp
until the league reviews the
dogfighting charges against him.

In a letter to Vick, Goodell says
while it's up to the legal system to
determine Vick's guilt or innocence, it
his responsibility as N-F-L

commissioner to determine whether the
conduct violates league policies.

The N-F-L says Vick would still
get his preseason pay and Goodell told
the Falcons to withhold any
disciplinary action of their own until
the league's review was completed.

GRAPHIC=HOLD There's also word tonight that

Vick has hired prominent trial attorney
Billy Martin, of the Washington,
D.C.-based firm Sutherland Asbill &
Brennan, to represent him.

Vick and his personal lawyer felt
it was important to retain a veteran
attorney with extensive federal court
experience, and Martin has just that.

He is a former federal prosecutor
and senior official at the Department
of Justice and his former clients
include Monica Lewinsky.

Blue Rocks vs. Avalanche Members of the Roanoke Stars AAU :00 team playing in this week's National
Tournament were at the game.

They would see the Blue Rocks
jump on top in the first inning as
Brian McFall singles on a line drive to
center. Mark Madddox scores and it's
two to nothing visitors. If that
didn't turn a few heads this did.

Joshua Johnson rips a shot to
left center field. The ball caroms off
the wall and put another runner in

scoring position.

The Blue Rocks Jose Duarte would
single in another one as Joshua Johnson
scores.
*CG final Wilmington But Mark Ori did it all for the 4 Avs tonight with his glove and he hit a Salem grand slam as the Avs come back to win 6 game one of the series 6 to 4.
