Fairmount Properties is planning
to build a shopping center on these 40
acres along South Main Street.
The plan includes a 180-thousand
square foot building, believed to be a
Walmart.
Last night the town's board of
zoning appeals decided the town could
NOT apply a newly created ordinance.
That new town law would have
required Fairmount to get special
permission to build the store.
