GRAPHIC=SEC College football teams around the

south are having enough trouble beating
the heat - so you can imagine that
Tennesse coach Phil Fulmer doesn't need
the aggravation or the bad publicity
his top tailback is causing him.

LaMarcus Coker, the team's
leading rusher last season, has been
suspended indefinitely.

Coach Fulmer will not disclose the
reason, but several news sources
including ESPN are reporting that the
tailback violated a substance abuse
policy.

It's uncertain if Coker will be
back with the team in time for the
season opener, but Fulmer said quote "I
have tried, as has the administration,
to work with him, but at this time he
must help himself."

GRAPHIC=None A German woman who had headaches and

nosebleeds

after having a pencil lodged in her
head for 55 years has finally

had most of the pencil removed.

ENG#=2 VO-NAT

VO-NAT The woman's doctors say the

headaches and nosebleeds should end

now that most of it has been taken out.

Margaret Wegner was four when she
fell while carrying more than

three-inch pencil that went through her
cheek and into her brain.

At the time, the technology did not
exist to safely remove the

pencil, so Wegner had to live with it.
