search this morning for a missing
boater from the New River Valley.

The Department of Game and
Inland Fisheries says a 39 year old

male went missing around 9:30 last
night on Claytor Lake.

It is believed a wake from
another boat, hit his boat, causing him
to fall over.

Conservation officers believe
the man drowned.

Dive teams will search the lake
at daylight.

counterfeit checks and money orders are
flooding the market.

As we've talked about, the
work-at-home scheme starts with victims
answering job ads to be "payment
processors" for companies.

The victim receives the fake
payment and deposits the full amount
into their personal bank account.

The scammer tells the victim to
keep 10-percent and wire back the rest.

Of course, in the end the victim
is out of the money they send to the
scammer, plus they have to pay back the
bank for the amounted deposited into
their account.

used in transactions on websites like
craigslist.org.


They are being passed-off to pay
for items for that are for sale.

There's also a number of
questionable part-time, or work-at-home
jobs offered on the site.

To combat scams, craigslist.org

pages and offers this advice.

Inland Fisheries says a 39 year old
male went missing around 9:30 last

night.

It is believed a wake from
another boat, hit his boat, causing him

in Danville after apparently being
shot in the chest.

The crash happened a little after
10:30 last night at the house at 229
North Avenue.

Authorities say that the crash
caused significant damage to the
foundation of the house.

There were reportedly people
inside the residence at the time but no
one was injured.

The man's gunshot wounds were
discovered after fire department
personnel responded to scene.

The driver was taken to the

hospital and placed in intensive care.

search this morning for a missing
boater from the New River Valley.

The Department of Game and
Inland Fisheries says a 39 year old
male went missing around 9:30 last
night on Claytor Lake.

It is believed a wake from
another boat, hit his boat, causing him
to fall over.

Conservation officers believe
the man drowned.

Dive teams will search the lake
at daylight.

counterfeit checks and money orders are
flooding the market.

As we've talked about, the
work-at-home scheme starts with victims
answering job ads to be "payment
processors" for companies.

The victim receives the fake
payment and deposits the full amount
into their personal bank account.

The scammer tells the victim to
keep 10-percent and wire back the rest.

Of course, in the end the victim
is out of the money they send to the
scammer, plus they have to pay back the
bank for the amounted deposited into
their account.

used in transactions on websites like
craigslist.org.

They are being passed-off to pay

for items for that are for sale.

There's also a number of
questionable part-time, or work-at-home
jobs offered on the site.

To combat scams, craigslist.org

pages and offers this advice.

The search will resume at 7:30 this
morning for a missing boater at Claytor
Lake.

The Department of Game and
Inland Fisheries says a 39 year old
male went missing around 9:30 last
night. It is believed a wake from
another boat, hit his boat, causing him
to fall over.

State Police and Virginia Tech will
hold a news conference tomorrow -- the
first time in months that state police
will update the investigation of
